Simple Article is an elegant WordPress theme created especially for bloggers. There are a lot of useful features included in the package that can help you become a better blogger.
Diverse Post Formats
People who enjoy writing posts as a hobby will surely appreciate the many post formats included, such as Video, Audio, Soundcloud, Gallery, Gallery as Grid, Slider, Column, and others. This variety makes it possible to publish more creative posts than usual.
Changeable Blog Cockpits
As follows from its name, Simple Article offers its users four different blog designs to choose from, namely Full Thumbnail, Medium Thumbnail with content on one side, Column, and a masonry layout with more than one picture. This choice was made so that you could customize your blog in the way you find suitable.
Enhanced User Interface
There is an option to select the category of a particular blog post, thus making it easier for your visitors to understand what they are reading. One more appealing feature is a sticky post, which means posting important news at the top of your blog.
Page Builder & Importer
You will be able to perform some operations in no time thanks to GoodLayers Importer, which allows you to set up your site to resemble the demo version you have chosen by means of simple steps that have video tutorials accompanying them. The Page Builder Setting Shortcut Button will help you set up your page builder settings using just one button.
Design Flexibility
Within Related Posts there are several design modification options to choose from, for instance, parallax and color sections, which offer variable parallax speed, allow posting YouTube video backgrounds, and also provide a great landing page template, where you will be able to cut your header, footer, or both off.
Unlimited Colors and Skins.
You will have unlimited color options for each element of the site, not only for skins, which can be modified using a different head. The cold color schemes perform especially well for the nature of typography and their relative position on the page.
Responsive and Modern Design.
This theme is completely responsive so that all versions of your blog, no matter whether it was done on your desktop, laptop, tablet, or any other popular model of mobile phone, will function properly. It has a floating navigation menu bar, integration of WooCommerce, a mega menu incorporated, etc.; high-resolution retina-ready designs are also supported for high-end screens.
Other Features.
Simple Article is full of features among which there are such things as Google Fonts, countless sidebar areas, a font uploader, a theme modification window, Font Awesome integration, SEO-friendly codes, a short codes generator, shelves, and a personnel section.
Support and Documentation.
It will be very good for you to know that there are some useful instructions in the package of the theme and there is an additional site for support. The support is rather effective and it tries to serve the clients’ needs in a short period of time (usually not more than 14 hours), except during the holiday period.
Conclusion
To summarize, Simple Article is a full-fledged WordPress theme for newbies with a well-designed, highly customizable interface and lots of options to work with. It would suit a minimalist blogger perfectly.
After installing the theme, I had some problems, and the support solved all my problems. Beautiful theme and a fantastic support team.
Great customer support. The theme is awesome and the support for it was superb.
Main Reason = ‘Everything’. I don’t know who ‘GoodLayers’ is, but I want to say, by use of the now non-binary use of the word ‘Dude’, Dude, yes I’ve never done a blog before or know much of what to do, but daamn, I was able to INSTANTLY able to see how much work this was going to save me. I ‘have an eye’ for look and feel, but have no skill, at all, in creating it. Your sample was just happened to be laid out in a way I could visualize my blog working, I took a shot, installed it, (having no previous experience), and…boom. Blown away.
Absolutely terrible customer support. I had one simple technical question about the theme and did not receive appropriate support.
Simple Article is easy to use and very versatile. I appreciate the simplicity and the design. The customizability, design quality, and flexibility of Simple Article are completely awesome. The page builder is fantastic and the post formats do their work. The customer support is excellent, very reactive and helpful. Absolutely recommended!
