Remake is a WordPress theme that suits minimalistic portfolios and agency websites. It has unparalleled smoothness when it comes to handling users and its layouts are beautiful which makes it the best choice ever for your work showoff.

Elementor makes customization a breeze

Using Elementor as one of the features in Remake is the main strength of this theme. This will ensure that all areas of your website including headers, footers, and templates can be easily modified at once. With premade widgets in Elementor, you could have something unique but still follow the minimalist design of the theme. To make things more interesting, there is an editor with live preview where you can drag anything and drop them without hassle.

Multifunctional layouts for any purpose

Remake avails many other presentation options to cover different tasks. Whether you are a photographer, digital agency or creative professional, there are ten built-in templates waiting for you. There are also 7 project sliders and different portfolio styles included in Remake to help showcase your projects.

Performance and Responsiveness

Performance is what concerns developers mostly while talking about Remake. The amount of resources loaded by this theme is kept low so as not to slow down visitors’ experience on your site hence it loads only the essentials when necessary. It’s responsive too; thus making your site look best on any device.

Premium Features and Support

Slider Revolution, CoWidgets among others come bundled with Remake to add some functionality into it. The template is WPML compatible for multilingual websites too as well as Multilingual ready. In case of any difficulties, premium support will guide you through.

UX/UI Design

The minimalism and modernity combined together with smooth animations plus parallax backgrounds in Remake give an outstanding user experience. The goal behind this theme was to assist individuals in enhancing their portfolios visibility and increasing their web presence sometimes linking up with social media platforms may be done for easy reach out to a wider range of individuals.

It’s perfect for WooCommerce and Blogging

Having WooCommerce compatibility in this theme makes it possible to sell stuff with Remake. You can also use one of the pre-built designs that come built in with the theme if you want your site to be a news or blog portal too. This adaptability is what attracts different people to select Remake for their sites.

Constant Updates

Remake is always updated to keep up with the latest WordPress, PHP, and Elementor versions. The most recent updates have addressed some minor issues and included certain new features like video support or more sliders making it perform better at large.

In summary, Remake can be described as an all-around user-friendly and performance optimized WordPress template for showcasing portfolios or digital agencies among others. It is easily assimilable with both Elementor as well as WooCommerce not forgetting its beautiful design coupled by premium attributes which make this to be my top selection when looking forward towards creating a unique website.

Thoughts on “Remake: A Minimal Portfolio WordPress Theme”

  1. I found this theme very difficult to work with. There is excessive code bloat and styling that is not simple to change. Prebuilt theme elements lack customization options. Ships with outdated plugins, bugs, and console errors in the demo. None of the sliders functioned properly. Support unable to resolve after a month of back and forth. Cutting our losses and moving to another theme.

Started off nice, but Lana slider abruptly stopped working around the time my support ticket expired…it’s also a shame that the theme doesn’t get any updates (available to people who already purchased) since this bug might have been able to be fixed with an update.

It does not work properly. I have tried several times but even the loading is slow and incomplete.

  2. I was so happy when I found this Theme because it had everything I wished for. After downloading and installing I figured it’s not really the fastest performance wise. After finding a bunch of workarounds and hours of work the theme doesn’t function anymore and nothing is being done to change it! So so frustrating!

Worked ok until recent bugs and security issues concerning Cowidget Plugin. Poor support.

I have been using it for almost 3 hours and everything is problems, the “loader” is constantly on and it is impossible to use it. I am requesting my refund because I am wasting too much time.

Too many bugs and issues and difficult to work with. Very bad theme. Had no time to keep contacting support with questions as constant issues appeared. Asked for refund but they had played it down. Bought another template from different developer and it works like a dream.

  3. The theme is beautifully showcased, and the demos are great, but it is lacking customizability in Elementor, especially with widgets. The Demo Pages are beautiful, but the whole thing is kinda buggy, and the documentation is a joke. If you want to make it your own or change the aspect ratio of the pictures, you have to search the whole documentation/forum to find a solution to simple changes.

The assistance is quick to respond and always helps on anything. However, as an Elementor Pro user, a lot of styling is far better organized and integrated in Elementor Pro than in this theme. There is always a fight between Elementor styling and theme styling with the pro version. Theme developers should sell their addons for sliders and portfolio widgets compatible with Elementor Pro.
