Thoughts on “Jobmonster: A Comprehensive Job Board Solution”

  1. The plugin to import jobs no longer works. Theme not updated in more than 6 months.

I bought this theme a while ago. There was some update before, but there isn’t any update anymore. The theme is obsolete. I am actually searching for a new one.

There is no support! Elementor is not working, no answer from the support after 5 days. Very frustrating and I switched to another theme.

A lot of bugs in both Elementor and Visual Composer. I didn’t expect this from the JobMonster. Fatal error: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: 3 arguments are required, 2 given in /home/jobzfi/public_html/wp-admin/includes/class-bulk-upgrader-skin.php:152

Terrible customer service! No one seems to attend to the support forum, 4 days now. Very annoying.

  2. The theme is not good. There are better ones that can do more and are not that complicated to set up. The translation into German also caused major problems. They don’t provide any support. I have had problems with customization many times but didn’t get any answers for a month. The support is rubbish. I submitted around 7 customer support tickets from March, and it’s now mid-May, and they still haven’t answered them. They haven’t updated their theme since March 15. There are a lot of issues and bugs with this theme. When you actually change a logo, it doesn’t work correctly. When you update something due to the theme customizer, it takes a long time before it actually does something. It’s by far not mobile-friendly. At first, it looks really great, but there are too many issues with it overall.

  3. Good theme, but I miss that the panel of the company and the candidate have different backends. The theme is code all though the code is not up to date. The main problem is to access the user forum. I cannot make comments because the site says that my license is already used by another user. Please help me access the user forum so it is possible to ask questions! Best regards, Søren. This theme is not as same as they mention here. On every step, I get problem and error, Package option is not here, Job page style looks ugly, Page Reload problem, Support team doesn’t respond well…totally waste of money…

  4. The registration form is not working. I have contacted support 48 hours ago but still no reply. Just a waste of money. DO NOT BUY THIS THEME AT ALL. The backend is not user-friendly. There is no possibility to change any layout or the forms.

Worst Job Board Theme, never purchase any product from NOOTheme, they have the worst customer support, no updates for their products. They simply loot money from customers.

Low quality, a lot of bugs, poor responsiveness, needs to be improved. I had to delete it after 6 months of use. I expect a refund!

The plugin to import jobs no longer works. Theme not updated in more than 6 months.

BE WARNED! There are no recurring payments available and it does not work with Woocommerce Subscriptions – your customer will have to remember to sign back up – you cannot automate this. I’d love a refund to take down this review.

  5. I found a very good YouTube video over 2 hours that explains this theme in detail. It’s really easy. I give 4 stars, not because it’s bad, but because of my personality; I vote only one 5 stars per year.

The theme itself has a few bugs but, for the most part, works. However, when we asked the developers for help, we received nothing. We tried contacting them through the forums and their direct contact form but still no reply. We paid extra for the 12-month item support, thinking we would use the theme in the long term and knowing we would need support. I am very annoyed about the way they handled this and will now warn others not to use this theme in the future.

I have purchased JobMonster today. I uploaded it into WordPress hosting and installed it, but when I try to activate the theme, it shows an error: “The site is experiencing technical difficulties.” It’s very annoying, and I’m waiting for a solution from the author.

  6. Good job board theme but with limited functions. Very easy to use. The code base is also a bit older. Good to use for simple cases.

I have created a topic on their support forum. They take weeks to respond. Theme is full of bugs and issues. The new versions of the theme have been released without testing, no quality code check. The support is very slow, sometimes without feedback, about 2-4 days. The theme author always asks for the admin account with some ad-hoc code modification.

Customer support tends to ignore your messages related to an existing issue. If they do not ignore your message, you should expect a reply after more than 7 days. Very disappointed by the Support Service. I would highly advise others to purchase a similar theme somewhere else.

  7. It cannot load into WordPress at all. It generates a 403 Forbidden Error. All other themes load with no issue. But Jobmonster can’t upload or install at all.

Support is not working. Registration form on support website is down. Theme without support and custom fonts is useless.

This Theme does not meet our needs. The features, especially plugins, are all premium and require separate licenses to fully access them. Also, many features are non-functional with lots of bugs, poor responsiveness, and no recurring payments. What they describe and the reality are totally different. I need a refund.

Although you say this theme is supported fully by Elementor, it is not. Not able to edit headers, footers, or H1/2 tags. There is very limited editing. The NooCustomizer is awful. No way to upload custom fonts or multiple colors. It’s a nice-looking theme but if you cannot properly edit it to your own branding it is in fact useless.

I don’t like the theme at all. Lot of bugs. Can’t even login. No proper dashboards for admin and employers. Not sure if I can replace my Jobmonster theme which I already purchased with “Superio” as it looks more mature. Please help.

  8. After inherent issues with this theme and no response from support for months, I asked for a refund. Noothemes promised they would refund the purchase after I contacted Envato. I requested a refund through Envato and Noothemes disputed it! Total rip-off and a waste of all the time I spent trying to make this erroneous theme work. I want my money back from this scam. Do not let them take your money!

Customer support is terrible! Concerns are posted on a forum and you sometimes go a week before anybody responds to it. The difference between a poor product and a great one is usually the customer experience and for this one, I give it a zero!

I love this theme, but Elementor doesn’t work as well as it says in the description. There aren’t enough short codes. I’m missing a lot of functionalities I had with the previous page builder plugin. Elementor is much easier than the other one, but it doesn’t have all the functionalities.

We have tried many months to get this theme running as a job board. However, it comes with many bugs and various strange behaviors. Some parts of the page are just eye candy or even fake and have no function. Like the Map Search page, it has a map and a search form, but both are not connected – the map does not show the search results but leads into the normal search page. Search and filters produce many “0 results” because unavailable options are not reduced. Filters in the sidebar move to the bottom of the page on mobile, which makes no sense. Job Location is not taken from Google input, but users can create their own cities, which leads to duplicate content. Radius search only works on your current location – not on the city you can enter in the form field next to the radius. The theme is not GDPR ready as stated! Support answers quickly; however, they stopped answering my questions six weeks before my support expired to make me renew. Most of the answers showed that they have not much understanding nor experience in the job market. Too bad the new theme Jobica comes with the same problems!
