I’m in love with this theme and all the design options it offers. This is my first time purchasing a theme for my website (after using free Shopify themes) and I haven’t regretted it one bit. Although it was my first time customizing a more advanced theme, the user manual combined with the YouTube videos were helpful and allowed me to complete my site within a day. The ONLY downside is that the YouTube videos are a bit hard to hear, but that was easily fixed with reviewing the user manual and making sure to watch the videos closely to get a better understanding of what was trying to be explained. Overall I love how it’s elevated the look and feel of my page and makes me more confident in attracting my ideal customer. Customer service is also great and responded to my inquiries quickly and effectively when I was trying to make small tweaks I wasn’t able to troubleshoot on my own.
This theme is coded almost perfectly and has great tutorials for setup. However, I am unable to give it 5 stars because I feel I am being cheated out of my money (and this could be an Envato problem but this is the only theme – out of many – that I’ve ever had this problem with). When purchasing this theme it’s the same as any other, you’re shown the total price for the theme and ‘Regular License.’ In this case, I paid $50 for the theme, license, and 6 months support. After using the theme, I realized that I would not be able to use it on multiple Shopify sites because they ask for your Purchase Code inside the customizer. Again, this isn’t the first Shopify theme, or any platform theme, that I’ve purchased so that initially threw me off. When I came back to Envato I noticed that another license would be $48 this time around. Meaning I’m rebuying the theme, right? Wrong, the $48 fee was just for another license. Something told me to go into my payment history and I see that my original $50 for the theme was broken down into three parts (mentioned earlier) and I only paid $20.62 for the license itself. So I contacted the theme’s support to try and understand why I have to pay another $50 when the original license was only $20.62. Unfortunately, the representative Kate, could not answer that question and told me this was an “Envato issue.” So forewarning for those of you that have been purchasing from Envato and may have never had this problem. Just to be clear, their policy states only one license is provided which is the lower price that’s shown initially on their products. But from past purchases, not all the themes adhere to this as the company’s licenses may state otherwise. With that being said, please keep in mind that if you purchase this theme, to use it repeatedly, you will have to buy it each time or pay $1,000+ for unlimited use. All in all, I feel the pricing doesn’t help the average customer on Envato, a freelancer.
One of the best Designer themes, includes all details with perfect documentation, Support excellent within hours answers, will buy others platforms theme from them.
Re rating this theme as have rectified issues, wish could have just told me in first place but sorted now so thank you.
Website loading extremely fast. Clean code and simply awesome mobile look. Surely one of the best themes to Shopify these days.
The code of this theme is outdated. The support is minimal and consists of clues by someone telling you where to go in the online instructions and look for the solutions yourself. Be careful not to get frustrated, they will stop answering your questions completely and act like you did not just pay $28 for extra support.
Does not support many apps like Fera, Klaviyo, etc. If support not working and after installing the app, some sections like the products option will be hidden. I sent to the help center to answer ASAP, they told me: “These are errors caused by external code. External code is external apps or your custom changes. Try to find and delete the problem APP or code. By default, the theme doesn’t have your errors. You can check this in the Demo.” I don’t like support like this.
This theme looked great initially, but after I purchased it and started diving in, problem after problem began to surface. The first and most glaring issue with the theme is its dependence on more than one service or app that has been discontinued. AddThis is one example, but there are more. This means that features you thought you were purchasing won’t actually be available. The second big problem for me is the lack of blog customization option. The blog post template does not even allow you to use a default image, something that is present in FREE themes. Much of the theme was designed without concern for flexibility. These problems are not obvious when looking at the demos because the theme seems to have been designed around the demo assets – which you’ll have to spend a lot of time removing before you can actually start customizing the theme.
