Nice template for town and parish councils. Few bugs here and there such as API recognition for Google Maps not working but Open Maps works ok. When uploading pictures within LSVR modules the image doesn’t show. After saving the listing and returning to edit I can select the image from the media library. Despite the glitches it is a great template.

The theme TownPress is certainly worthy of 5 Stars on its own, but I have selected Customer Support as the main reason for my rating simply because Lubos has gone above and beyond with his support. I have no hesitation recommending LSVRthemes and TownPress. A superb product!

I’ve to revalidate my review because the theme was updated to version 2.6.0:

Speed: Tested with demo-data and in Chrome (Version 74) with Lighthouse gives a performance score of 97!

I always look for top-rated support and I’ve interacted with the author many times and it’s always 5-star support. The theme is great and my site is doing very well!

This is one of the BEST themes I have purchased on ThemeForest. The quality of the code, and the fact that changes are actually tested before they are rolled out are amazing. This theme is one of my favorites, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is considering it. Great developer and great support as well. Keep up the great work!

It was a breeze to set up a new website for our Recreation Council. There’s a place for our gyms and public parks (the directory), upcoming events (Notices), board of directors (People), and our programs. It all came together so easily thanks to TownPress.

This theme has a lot of great features, it’s a great starting point for many different kinds of projects. The developer has been incredibly good at supporting it and answering questions.

Excellent code quality, the best support, and very clear and complete documentation. LSVR is an excellent choice. His commitment to his themes makes him a top-notch author.

Has a large number of settings and options to customize presentation in child theme and incredibly it’s easy and simple. Highly recommended.

Excellent theme, straight to the point and includes everything a modern city would need regarding information. Customer support is just amazing, and response time is great. Thumbs up.

The overall quality of the theme is amazing. They have easy-to-follow documentation. It’s a great-looking theme for a town with all the features needed and organized in a sensible way. Comprehensive, well-designed, full-featured, and flexible. Works well and frustration-free. The creator is responsive as well. This is BY FAR THE BEST theme I have ever worked with. I just updated the theme using documentation provided and everything worked perfectly. Great theme, multiple theme options, easy customizing. Five stars for design, structure, documentation, and excellent support from the author!

Hard to choose just one reason: Design Quality, Reliability, Customization, Documentation, etc. All aspects of this theme are top-notch!

I’ve compared many city website templates, and for WordPress, this one is the best-designed and most comprehensive.

With every new update this theme stops working completely. The latest update brought some deleted elements that made it impossible to display old views, i.e. team members. I cannot recommend TOWNPRESS at all!

I have bought and used this theme 4 times in the past few years. I am not a great web dev by any means but this makes Township websites very easy to customize and organize.

My only issue is in the gallery/document sections, where adding any new items like photos or documents to the list replaces any already there. All the collection has to be uploaded at once and cannot be added to which defeats the purpose of its use. Have had many panicked client calls when they’ve added items and subsequently deleted everything that is there, which isn’t great.
