We have been using this theme for over a year now and have received many complements on the design. People are surprised when I tell them that we did this ourselves and did not have to hire a full-time website designer. In terms of support, the staff, particularly Hina, has gone out of their way to assist when we’ve had issues with the site. I highly recommend this theme and thanks again to Hina for the great support!

The Retailer WordPress theme is mobile-ready and very user-friendly, which was the main reason why I chose this theme over other e-Commerce themes. It is fast with hardly any bugs. I requested help with some customization and the support response was always immediate and helpful. I use The Retailer theme to run an e-Commerce shop on a sub-domain, while my main site runs on the Shopkeeper theme, built by the same designers and developers of Bowtied. The two themes pair nicely and allow me to activate different functions based on different website content and taxonomies, keeping both sites fast, light, and crawlable. I am very happy with the Retailer theme and can highly recommend it if you are looking to build an online WordPress shop.

I really like the theme “The Retailer” and we have used this theme for our webshop for 5-6 years now and it has worked very well. The support team for The Retailer theme is quick to respond and always very helpful.

The theme is full of bugs! V3 of the homepage (Shop by Outfit) is displayed correctly in the frontend but cannot be edited in the backend. When opening it in the editor, everything is completely shot. I have rebuilt the whole WordPress 3 times to avoid a mistake on my part. Every time it was like this, even with different PHP versions. The support is virtually non-existent. To my support request came short one-line almost impudent answers. After a short exchange of three such unbelievable emails, there was simply no answer at all. I have never experienced anything so bad!

Customer support wasn’t initially able to help until I gave them a 1-star rating. They eventually provided a fix.

Support has continually been high quality. Even when I think my question may be outside their support, suggestions and recommendations are made. That’s greatly appreciated. They have been spot on and save me a lot of time. Thank you.

This used to be a wonderful theme, but v3.0 appears to be problematic. We will give v3.0 another try with the update, but we have been reverting to v2.X after each update. We are really disappointed Adrian, but hopefully you will get things sorted. PS. We would love to see a list of the comparables, side by side table, between v2.X and v3.0.

I am getting tons of errors since I updated retailer: AH01215: PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant ‘custom_woocommerce_product_subcategories_args’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /mnt/web414/b0/15/56813715/htdocs/WordPress_01/wp-content/themes/theretailer-child/functions.php on line 14.

What happened to this theme? Everything seems to be shut down, the theme is not working anymore and there is no way to contact the support.

Customer Support is great. Like to specially thank Adrian Bojinca communicating with me in FB messenger to get all the issues iron out. My upgrade was done with latest version 2.10 from old version 1.8.1. Though the update was successful, the website still breaks. So Adrian went to the site backend and pinpoint the exact issues. Within less than an hour, the theme looks great. I must say this really saves me about 24 hours if need to submit ticket waiting for reply. I can now move on from here to continue adding new products. No regret. All is working great as expected.

Having huge slow downs from AJAX Cart Frags after recent “Cart item count fix”. Adding 7-10sec to each page load. Huge problem. Found a bug, but since I bought it 7 months ago I can’t communicate it to support.

Very flexible theme! I love to work with it. Just wish a function to be able to search products by article number. Please continue your great work to make THE RETAILER better.
