Getting a new theme can be daunting because you want it to look great and worry about what happens if things go wrong. After looking around for a long time, I settled on PhotoMe and started to configure it. I got 90% of the way and needed help with a couple of areas, so I contacted support. I had brilliant and quick help, and now I’m really pleased with how it looks. Getting technical help quickly should not be underestimated, especially if you’re not overly technical. Thanks to all involved!

The gallery pages load SO slowly, so as an artist or photographer who relies on a gallery page, I would highly recommend not going with this theme unless there’s a huge update. Even with smaller compressed images, it takes an average of 30 seconds for my gallery page to load. I tried installing a lazy loader plugin but it didn’t work, everything must load before anything will show on the page. If you look into the author’s comments, he gets this feedback and claims it’s on the user side instead of attempting to fix it on his end. Very frustrating and a waste of money. On the plus side, it’s a beautiful template.

Unfortunately I have to give only one star. I have encountered several problems, starting with the importation of the sample data, up to some very difficult changes. I also have to spend another $ 100 for another simple change.

In reiterating the practicality and beauty of this template, I would like to thank Peter for his exquisite assistance and for promptly resolving some problems not due to the template but to my negligence in updating it. The theme is well-designed, flexible, and easy to use once you get the hang of the basics. Great functionality and features for both a one-person or bigger photography studio. Very happy with the product and the support.

Great theme, easy setup with lots of features. Had an issue with loading on Safari (my issue with test URLs) and support was great and suggested fix worked straight away.

The theme is very beautiful and looks really nice. What I do not like is that WPML plugin doesn’t work nicely with this theme. You need to create the whole page content structure again with classic editor for your translated page. The other thing is the performance of the site with this theme. It has made my site very slow. My AIOSEO is complaining that there are many JavaScript and CSS files which don’t seem to be minified. The documentation is saying there should be options in the theme settings to minify those, but in the current theme version, those options do not exist. I contacted the support and was suggested to ignore those and use the 2 plugins mentioned in the documentation. I tried those plugins earlier already and those caused other problems in the theme like the gallery images were on top of each other. Theme support said I should not activate those in order for galleries to work well.
