We have used Oshine for dozens of clients over the years, purchasing a new license for each client. Recently, Brand Exponents rolled out an update that invalidated the production environment when a dev copy was made of a site. It’s standard practice to use dev and staging environments to build and test new functionality using your existing license, and to push that functionality to a production environment after QA. After multiple attempts to resolve this with the customer support team, we will be moving all of our clients away from this theme. Support and documentation have deteriorated, and I am very disappointed in the customer service experience and this update. I’m also very unimpressed with the move to “pro” features and widgets in Tatsu, which at one point, were all included in the price of the theme.

Such a great theme! Their customer support is awesome. Every time I have a question, I know that I can email them and they will do their best to respond in a timely manner. Great theme, great customer service.

I have already bought 4 licenses of this theme and the authors have treated me phenomenally, I recommend this theme 100%.

I’ve tried everything to keep this theme with Tatsu stable but Tatsu is the big problem of this theme. It’s nice to have when it works but it breaks everything if it doesn’t, which happens quickly. This theme was used in six attempts to build different websites but in none of the cases, this theme is still active. Buy this theme and use it like it is if you need a minimal and simple website and you do not have to optimize anything. If you want to optimize it for SEO, speed, and caching with professional plugins and a CDN like from WPMU DEV, don’t use this theme. At least don’t use it with Tatsu!

This is a good theme and we have purchased over 10 licenses for numerous client sites. However, please note that this theme developer is slow to release updates for critical components of the theme. They are specifically slow to update the sliders that are bundled with the theme and urge you to manually download updates and apply them. But even those updates are a version or two behind. Right now Wordfence is giving me an alert that there is a critical vulnerability in one of the sliders and there is no update for it from the theme suppliers. So here we sit with over 10 sites all vulnerable to known hacks and there is nothing that we can do about it until the theme developer provides the latest slider versions. As a result, I’m afraid that no matter how good this theme looks, it poses serious security flaws in its patching process or licensing model.

Fast, straightforward, and competent assistance; they persistently work on the problem until a good solution is found. There is additional information and videos that explain what needs to be done and why. Highly recommended.

The product is amazing, and fairly easy to use even for noobs. And customer support was super helpful with some issues I had. Recommend!

Website crashes with any plugin activated. Promised support does not exist. Submitted enquiry for 2 weeks without any response, company Facebook messages remain unread. Any new ticket enquiry directly labelled “closed”.
