The best template complete with every setting for managing rooms and apartments. I made the mistake of choosing another template because I thought it was better than Goodlayers but I wasted my money! Recommended. I forgot, TOP assistance even if my license was expired. Thanks.

My room reservation pages were loading very slow and as soon as I requested help, one of their team fixed my issues. Not only this, they even helped with other related functions, which I didn’t know. It was amazing and wonderful. Thanks very much for great help.

And now the worst… mistakes and code quality. All these errors have already been and were solved, but they appeared again after 2-3 months. I still have a problem that the synchronization with Booking.com is disappearing. Because of this it’s quite difficult to track room reserves and have to block manually. The calendar has stopped showing dates that are already fully booked. I will have to buy a tech support license again just because the developers couldn’t solve the problem on a permanent basis.

The site is very nice, it’s not too difficult to customize, but the support is lacking commitment, it is slow, and it is very difficult to get hold of someone to help with problems that have to be fixed as fast as possible.

The template is great and one of the main reasons for my 5-star rating is the customer support. They reply fast and always with a perfect and reliable answer. Even though it has its limitations in terms of customization, for a general accommodation place, it works perfectly fine. It differentiates between Hotel and Hostel features, depending on the type of room/dorm you want to set. But you can combine both modules with small customizations. Again, the customer support was very helpful in that sense. The only thing I’d suggest Goodlayers improve is the room/dorm booking management system. The backoffice management is pretty difficult, given you can’t make manual bookings or block beds/rooms from the administration panel. To block beds/rooms for a given date, the booking manager has to make a new booking using the user interface, which is a little bit annoying. The synchronization with iCal only works for rooms. Anyway, I give 5 stars because for the price you pay, you can’t expect to have a booking system as good as other products that are specialized in that business.

Many bugs, unable to use it on my website, do not waste your money on this theme.

The theme itself has a booking feature that should block dates when a booking has been made. Obviously, the custom fields for bookings and for importing ical from other portals are translatable, which leads to problems. When discussing the syncing issue with the support, we were told that we have to fill in the ical links in every language used on the website. From our point of view, this doesn’t make much sense as a room is booked or free regardless of the language. The theme seems to treat the three languages as different rooms with their own IDs.

Another behavior that makes it impossible for us to use the theme is that the bookings made in different languages are not synced internally. It seems to work for bookings made in the default language but not if a room has been booked in another language. We made a test booking on the German website, and on the English website, this room was still available. Also, when looking at the ical that we exported for syncing with the portals, the booking didn’t appear in the ical file of the default language. This behavior can permanently lead to overbookings and penalization for canceling a booking made on portals.

We have been in contact with the support but our problems were not recognized. Our last email has not been answered for more than six weeks. We strongly warn everyone who is looking for a theme for a multilingual booking website that can be synced with portals like booking.com to purchase this theme.

Customer support on this theme has been great!! It’s already well documented and well coded, just had to switch a couple of things and received assistance right away from the team!!
